I’m a big fan of the photographer James Balog, I found his book through the American Forest Organization.
The book “Tree” a new vision of the American Forest is a very beautiful and interesting book. I relate to his mission which is to change the way we relate to nature though the use of his photography. The thing that set him apart from other landscape photographers is his daring and creative approach to photographing trees.
James has a great web site James Blog Photography . I was happy to find a video by him on line today, I am posting a link, I not sure if everybody has a fast connection, but if you do it worth checking out, it shows how he made the book. The video is called Extreme Photographer James Balog.
