Cape May from Last Year

20090307-_ltd6467-edit?

As I go through last years 6614 images to archive, I find ones that I want to go back and re-visit. I’m not sure what draws me back, but there is something with this image, it’s the peace and solitude of an empty , I can hear the pounding and feel the sand beneath my toes.

There is something about the sea that just draw you in and then draws you back again and again.

  2. Right there with you, Lou. I grew up in Margate and would rather walk the beach in the winter than in the summer.

this looks like the same jetty Jack photographed……something is drawing y’all to the same point.

Yes Elaine, maybe? I was told of many of Jacks locations, mostly on the Cape May Point. I’m not sure where this was taken, but it feels like Beach Drive in Cape May. As I remember it was taken at a place we use to call poverity beach, because all the rich folks live there. :)
