Gone but not forgotten[/caption]
This tree is still in my thoughts, it was located on Hartford road, Medford, NJ. The location is behind the CVS on the proposed Home Depot site, right off of Rt 70.
It was my attempt to get the exposure right, to get the maximum dynamic range out of the sensor. I achieved it by stopping down the aperture to F16, having the camera set to aperture priority and not being in the program mode.
The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see Nature all ridicule and deformity, and some scarce see Nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, Nature is Imagination itself.
William Blake, 1799, The Letters

Nice image and ‘thought for the day’. I think I know this tree. Is it on Oakshade?
This tree is no longer standing, it was located on Harford road behind the CVS. A red tail hawk called it home, I was never able to photography the hawk in the tree, though I tried in vain for several years. I saw a photo of the tree in the township calendar completion last year, I forget the photographers name.
