The silence here is deafening only the echoes of my mind.
“Silence is the cornerstone of character.”
Be still and know. Anyone can verbally attack another. Anyone can be a smart
aleck. Anyone can be angry and tell other people things that will hurt them.
Anyone can be sarcastic, devaluating and belittling. It takes a Warrior to
be silent. Silence is so powerful. Silence can be so loving.

The plan failed, piss poor planing, so I got creative. I had no tent to sleep in so I sleep under the stars with a bunch of deer in Big Meadows, probably not legal but I didn’t care and the deer didn’t either. The deer are pure LOVE and very trusting if one clears all thoughts, so being there was awesome. I was with such beautiful trusting caring creatures it was an amazing night and an amazing experience, watch the sun go done, the end of another day and the simply see outstanding stars and the silence that it creates as peace on earth.
I just remember how to do the Deer Dance as taught to me by Brant Secunda’s at the Dance of the Deer Foundation Center for Shamanic Studies. Brant Secunda performs the sacred Dance of the Deer Ceremony at each retreat. This ceremony is devoted to the powers of healing and light. The Huichols may be the last tribe to maintain this ancient ritual.

Lou……….have you been on one of these retreats? if so, where? locally?
Yes I have Elaine, several times in the Catskills for the winter & summer solstice.
I did my first sweat lodge with Brant in the Catskill Mountains, it was an awesome experience.
