The Keeler Oak Tree
This 300 year old tree was witness to the Colonial troops and Hessian soldiers as they marched through Black Horse down Petticoat Bridge where a famous skirmish took place during the Revolutionary War. The tree is affectionately named for the previous owners of the farm “where it now stands and servers as “the Mansfield Township logo”.
The Keeler Oak Tree is a white oak (Genus: Quercus, Species: alba) 88 ft tall with a drop line of 120′

Amazing how tall and strong an oak grows from a tiny acorn.
