Jonathan Livingston Seagull
Still in Cape May I meet Jonathan Livingston seagull again on the beach where he usually hangs out. He was have his usual squabbles with the flock about fights over food. But Johnathan found time for me so we could have a nice chat. I asked him what my goal in life should be, knowing all to well about his goal of perfecting flight. He told my goal should be in search of the perfect picture and to keep striving for greater and better quality, something I have lost my path too. So I thanked him for his wisdom and gave him a cracker which he thanked me for with his usually squawk and flew off to join the flock.
I always enjoy a talk with my favorite seagull Jonathan Livingstons.
When he discovers the technique of flying :
How much more there is now to living! Instead of our drab slogging forth and back to the fishing boats, there’s reason to life! We can lift ourselves out of ignorance, we can find ourselves as creatures of excellence and intelligence and skill. We can be free! We can learn to fly!
