I attending a mothing which is a group of people who like to photograph and observe moths. Mothing is looking for moths is very easy. Many people just leave a porch light on and check what is attracted to the light. Others use blacklights and Mercury Vapor Lights that put out light in color spectrum’s that can be irresistible to moths. Special fermented baits are also used to draw moths in. The mothing was at Whitesbog, NJ It all started with a moonlight walk in the pinebarrens and then the photographing begins. Here’s some attempt at photographing moths. please leave any comments. Here’s a how to link.
