What do Stormy Clouds Say?
I love a good thunder storm and I’m not sure why? Could it be the changes in the negative ions in the stratosphere? or the sure powerful wind gusts that blow over trees? You don’t want to forget the lighting that is sure to scare the living daylights out of you. Well what ever it is, I just love it. I hope you enjoy my photos and my video. Please leave comments on why you like or dislike storms.
The little black dot in the sky is a lone hawk flying high into the clouds, I wish I had a better lens, so you could see more detail.

When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence”.

Storm Clouds with No Lighting

NO LIGHTING
I was out and about wandering in search of something of the callings from the plant world, but ah no luck, but a storm roiled in and as watched lighting bolts, I wondered how to capture a photograph of a lighting blot. Yes, I know that they have sensors to detect them, but poor me doesn’t have one. So I shot 100’s of photos continuously hope to get lucky. Not my day.

Great topic! Clouds and cloudy skies are actually a big part of an interesting images. I have many images from warm places where the sky is just a blank blue – so one third of the frame contains nothing of interest. I often take pictures of interesting skies (especially in high res panoramas) and store them for future use on an image. This one from Hungary was taken on a dull rainy day, but a bit of photoshop magic helped change it. I really should warm up the water a little as well perhaps! So keep going with the clouds! https://steven-heap.pixels.com/featured/hungarian-parliament-building-in-budapest-steven-heap.html
