Photographing a Cat
My street photography period, 2012
Walking on 2nd street, in Philadelphia, and I found this cat in the window, looking at me.
I didn’t know this cat but found my self attracted to him, maybe because, he looked like a cat I had as a kid. I don’t know, but I asked if I could use him as a model, and the Gallery owner said OK.
Furthermore, I went back after a couple of years to give the owner some of my portraits of pinky, but sadly, pinky the cat had pasted a way. I was sad and didn’t ask for details. Now, 10 years later, I was thinking of Pinky. RIP

A photo of my daughters cat is my all time highest earner on stock agencies. So they are well worth photographing!
Steve; That’s very interesting, I never had much luck with stock, but sold the first one to Getty on 500px. Thanks for the visit.
Looks like my daughter’s cat…..OPEE….best thing that cat does is lounge all the time
