Update 04-28-2022
I eventually found this coniferous forest at the Rancocas State Forest and have been thinking about going back to it. It has a special draw to it for me. I need to study some more history to understand the site. I meet a couple of treasure hunters who told me of the coins they have found there dating back to the 1700. There is a lot of ground to cover at Rancocas State Forest and its impressive history.
It was home to the Lenape Indian nation and I attended a lot of POWWOWs at that park and I will link them back here some day, or do a search of my site.
Older original post. I was looking for a conifer forest, but had to settle for this shot.
