Abstract Art – Photography
The plastic man – women gallery. This represents my ongoing exploration of lighting different forms. The images are some out-takes and a work in progress. This was inspired by the Fine Art Photography. I had the pleasure of attending one of Rick’s workshop, it was inspiring. I also had visited one of his Museum exhibitions.
Vessels of the Late Petroleum Age of Rick Wright Photography.

Your lighting of that detergent dispenser/container is amazing. By a timely coincidence – my wife and I have been watching the first series of Star Trek movies. When I first saw the black and white rendition of your container I immediate thought “space probe.” Excellent work.
Thanks for the comments, I visit your site later I got run
I’ve always liked commercial/industrial design. For a while I tried doing stock photography and was a bit surprised at how absorbed I got in working out lighting for a shot of some mundane object. A really talented photographer can make almost anything interesting.
Thanks, Jim, I see these old images and would like to improve them, sometimes it never ens. Thanks for the comments.
Interesting, but maybe not the sort of wall art I would buy…
Steve, a look back at my fine art days, it’s not about selling, buying or marketing, as the University of the Arts’ mission is simple: to advance human creativity.University of the Arts It was only when I became a starving artist did I think about selling my work. lmao
I love studying an object like this–it’s challenging for the photographer and often the results are amazing for the viewer. Thanks for sharing all the out-takes!
