Magnolia Trees
I shot this image yesterday, I loved the color and the beauty of the Magnolia trees in bloom.
Magnolia x ‘Jane’ reaches to a height of 15–20 feet and a width of approximately 20 feet. This beauty likes sun to part shade and has a moderate growth rate. It is deciduous and blooms in early Spring, producing tulip-like, dark pink to lavender flowers.
Magnolia is a large genus of about 210 to 340 flowering plant species in the subfamily Magnolioideae of the family Magnoliaceae. It is named after the French botanist Pierre Magnol. Magnolia is an ancient genus.
