From a hike in the Pine Lands
Here are a couple of images that I liked from the hike yesterday.
At first, I thought the water set the tone for this image, but I’m not sure if it isn’t the blue color that’s calming, quiet, peaceful and cool. I need to re-visit this place again soon.
As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, I do not have specific information about the “Nature Conservancy’s Oswego River Preserve.” However, I can provide you with some general information about The Nature Conservancy and their work, which may help you understand what a preserve of this kind might involve.
The Nature Conservancy (TNC) is a well-known nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation of lands and waters around the world. TNC works to protect natural habitats and biodiversity through various means, including land acquisition, conservation easements, and restoration projects. They often establish and manage nature preserves and conservation areas to safeguard important ecosystems and provide opportunities for scientific research, education, and outdoor recreation.
If you are looking for specific information about the “Nature Conservancy’s Oswego River Preserve,” I recommend visiting The Nature Conservancy’s official website, contacting their regional office, or searching for local news articles and resources related to the preserve. They should have up-to-date information on the location, purpose, and activities associated with that particular preserve.
Please keep in mind that my knowledge is not current, and there may have been developments or changes regarding the Oswego River Preserve or The Nature Conservancy’s work in that area since my last update.
