Deer in the snow
I was looking outside and thinking of all the snow we had when we lived in Medford, NJ. Wow, it’s now 2026 and 15 years have flown bye. I have no deer today, sorry.
This was shot back in 2011 in my backyard in Medford, New Jersey. I miss that old house.
In my new house now and enjoy a smaller house. I hope to get out in the snow today and get a couple of snow photographs. We have a snow storm coming, and I hope it’s a blizzard.
We had a great snow fall last night, and living close to nature always provides a wealth of photo opportunities. I don’t consider myself a wildlife photographer, but I do try on occasion.

Great shots, especially that first one with the head peeking between the branches!
Great pictures Lou! It reminds me of the Sycamore Ranch in New Mexico. We didn’t have that much snow; we had deer though, and they would steal our grapes.
Thanks for visiting I’m replying via my phone. Wp got an app that cool.
Awesome pictures Lou
Thanks
Awesome dad.
Awesome pictures. He’s looking right at you.
Beautiful!! The contrast of the deer’s coat to the whiteness of the snow makes it.
Thanks Colleen, stay warm !
