Lonely bird on beach in winter photo

Many years ago, I shot this beautiful cloudscape in Marlton NJ.
Dead mountain mouth of carious teeth that cannot spit
Here one can neither stand nor lie nor sit
There is not even silence in the mountains
But dry sterile thunder without rain LESS

Afternoon Delight
I always liked to get lost in the clouds. A great form of mediation for me. Getting lost in the clouds had a different meaning after a free fall skydive at Free Fall America. The clouds have a completely different meaning now.
We had some storms today which gave me the photo opt to test my firmware update on my Olympus camera, it bred new life in the old body, not just the camera, mind too.
It’s no secret that I love clouds and have spend a lot of time watching. The best location is in Central Florida. I learned to appreciate them more when I lot of close and personnel with a sky dive. Link to Sky dive America
I love a good thunder storm and I’m not sure why? Could it be the changes in the negative ions in the stratosphere? or the sure powerful wind gusts that blow over trees? You don’t want to forget the lighting that is sure to scare the living daylights out of you. Well what ever it is, I just love it. I hope you enjoy my photos and my video. Please leave comments on why you like or dislike storms.
The little black dot in the sky is a lone hawk flying high into the clouds, I wish I had a better lens, so you could see more detail.
“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs.
When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence”.
~ Ansel Adams

NO LIGHTING
I was out and about wandering in search of something of the callings from the plant world, but ah no luck, but a storm roiled in and as watched lighting bolts, I wondered how to capture a photograph of a lighting blot. Yes, I know that they have sensors to detect them, but poor me doesn’t have one. So I shot 100’s of photos continuously hope to get lucky. Not my day.
Dar?ana is a term meaning “auspicious sight”, vision, apparition, or glimpse. It is most commonly used for theophany, “manifestation / visions of the divine” in Hindu worship, e.g. of a deity, or a very holy person or artifact. Thank you Helmut R. Kahr for the inspiration.
Did you wonder what your dogs sees? I did, and also wondered what the trees see and all the nature. This question started me on a quest to become one with nature. Nature see a lot of things differently than we do and thus, so, has not made it easy for us to understand her or see her. I started with the sense of vision, because I’m a visual person, that starting point made sense, so I had a Nikon D200 DLSR convert to a Super Color IR Filter (equivalent to 590nm Filter)A by a Life Pixel Here are some examples of what can be done with an IR camera.
If you are interested in joining my new world by having a camera converted, please add me as a referral using my email: louis.dallara@gmail.com and by doing so, this helps support my exploration and I will provide tips and assistance.
Here’s some of my first work.
“We can speak without voice to the trees and the clouds and the waves of the sea. Without words they respond through the rustling of leaves and the moving of clouds and the murmuring of the sea.”
Paul Tillich quote
When I have an idea, it goes from vague, cloudy notion to 100,000 words in a heartbeat.
Lynn Abbey
A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition.
William Arthur Ward
I was startled to find these flowers still in full bloom in October, so I stopped and photographed them. I knew with a 30 mph wind, it was going to be difficult to do an HDR, but gave it a try. I had the camera set on JPG setting from a previous shoot, which not desirable.
Furthermore, I used the new Nik HDR pro software, this was 4 images hot in the jpeg mode, I also used Nik new control points to create a focus point in the image.
Enjoy the flowers while you can because winter is coming.

Just another landscape on the path through life, one wanders though dead zones of purgatorial hell the trick is to get out before it consumes you. The image I chose to display represents “The End” that i quoted from “The Doors” Jim Morrison who is part of my soul along with Tom Cruise in yesterday’s quotes.

clouds corn
I knew it was to be the end of the chapter of my life so it had to have the perfect ending, the gods shined on us and it was good. When one experiences a feeling of oneness with another human being it the most wonderful experience in ones life, but like everything it has to come to an END. It’s like the end of a sentence that wants run on and on.

I love this corn field, something so innocence. The snake is referenced in a lot of Jim Morrisions songs and I have made my own met-before about the snake which came into play when I found this snake skin the other day, for now it’s means that I’m to shed my skin and be born again, and It could also mean to shed some attachments.
Friends can help each other. A true friend is someone who lets you have total freedom to be yourself – and especially to feel. Or, not feel. Whatever you happen to be feeling at the moment is fine with them. That’s what real love amounts to – letting a person be what he really is.
Jim Morrison
If you watch the clouds long enough you will get a great photograph, and sometimes they become a work of art.
I miss the clouds of Florida, and Arizona, there are thunderheads there like no other anywhere. Here’s a quote from my favorite book.
A cloud does not know why it moves in just such a direction and at such a speed. It feels an impulsion…this is the place to go now. But the sky knows the reasons and the patterns behind all clouds, and you will know, too, when you lift yourself high enough to see beyond horizons.
Richard Bach quote, American Writer, author of ‘Jonathan Livingston Seagull’
After free-falling i.e. skydiving through the clouds, I now know why the birds sing.
