Street PIAF musician
I always enjoy live music, something about it I can’t describe. This photograph came from a shoot at First Friday Philadelphia, I always give a donation to the street musician which enriches the experience and the photo too.
Édith Piaf (1915–1963) was a legendary French cabaret singer who rose from poverty as a street performer in Paris to become an international icon. Discovered in 1935, her powerful, emotional voice defined classics like “La Vie en rose” earning her the nickname “La Môme Piaf” (The Little Sparrow).

Play it again Sam
