The story
The backstory, I started to hike to nowhere in Franklin Parker Preserve today. The purpose was to find silence, I was to hike to a spot that gave me a feeling to stop, and then at the location I just looked around, getting connected to the present moment and listing for the sound of silence. I found it at this location on the red trail in Franklin Parker Preserve Landscape.
The red blaze was the starting point.
There’s something about silence—it’s like being in the eye of a hurricane. When we can be still, when we’re not trying to figure it out, there’s a knowing and an intuition that we can connect with.

“Solitude” for Wordsworth is the privileged condition that allows you to see and feel in a unique, powerful way. If you are not distracted by words and noises, your self is more likely to enjoy the spiritual force of nature and be part of it.
On this journey I was not lost?
