These are some still photos from an abandoned cranberry bog along Quaker Bridge road in the Pineland. The photos are an attempt to do some direct connecting to that place. The most striking feature of the places inhabitants was the mushrooms. I not am expert on mushrooms and have no idea what species they belong to. I am looking to join a mushroom group to learn more about those plants. Please leave me a comment if you know of a group located in South Jersey. I have found a great mycological group ie. mushroom called New Jersey Mycological Association and have joined this group of mushroom hunters. Here’s a link to there web site. Check out the photo winners for 2016
