Recent research suggests that incorporating mushrooms into your diet may be even more beneficial for your health than previously believed. Big mushroom benefits!

Still photos from an abandoned cranberry bog along Quaker Bridge road in the Pinelands. The photos are an attempt to do some direct connecting to that place. The most striking feature of the place’s inhabitants was the mushrooms. I not am expert on mushrooms and have no idea what species they belong to. I am looking to join a mushroom group to learn more about those plants. Please leave me a comment if you know of a group located in South Jersey. I have found a great mycological group i.e. mushroom called New Jersey Mycological Association and have joined this group of mushroom hunters. Here’s a link to their website. Check out the photo winners for 2016
